Starry Nights..

Welcome to my blog. This image is brought to you by myself. Haha. No, this is not a foolish attempt to get you to read my upcoming book. This is just for you to see what can happen on a cold star lite night. Sometimes, we need to be reminded of the simple things in life. Let's kick off this upcoming year with a bang. Thought I forgot you..

WOW! It's been a while since I have wrote on my blog. I know, I know.. I should have told you that I was going into a cave for a while.. but.. I have came to spread cheer! My second book, which is a stand alone, is finished! Coming in 2015 Enchanted Legacy will be out near an EReader near you! This book has so many thing I love in a story that I wanted to share with the world. My first romance I loved was Romeo and Juliet. It may have been a horrific ending to a story, but the love was there. Another favorite was the Twilight Saga. Now, again, I know what your thinking. Shakespeare to Twilight? How in the world.. but I loved both. After working on an idea for a while Bridget's story came to me. Thus, locking myself away to write. 

Now, for those of you that read the first book I wrote, Charming Selene, I am more than half way through the second book on the writing. It's from a different point of view, so I know I am taking a huge leap by doing that. I wanted people to know someone's else's thoughts and feelings as Selene traveled the road she was and is on. That book, the second in the Charming Series will be out in the summer of 2015. 

For the big TADA of this little blog post.. MUSIC! That's right. My first love. The one thing I never forget to share with you. Music. I have decided to do something WAY outside of the box. I am going to try and produce some of my own songs to match up with the books. This way you get a feeling of how the book should read. When the chords are low and sad, when they are heavy and hard, and when they are amazingly beautiful. This is a dream of mine, and I hope I can do this..

We all have to find faith in ourselves at one point. I know that my book is nothing compared to so many others in the Indie World. I also know that if I doubt myself all the time nothing good will come of that either. I am here to tell you dreams can happen.. You, yourself, can make these dreams come true. Nothing is ever easy.. I have known this for a while. People assume that fame and fortune comes from money etc.. it doesn't. It comes from within. Believe in yourself, and you will find that your making your own fame and fortune lives inside of you.

Before the holidays come I just wanted to take the time to let you know.. I am still here.. I am still holding onto a dream.

Not sure..

Hi all.. I feel like I have been locked away for a while, trying to work very hard on projects I have coming soon. I thought I would share one of the big ones with you all.

Charming Selene will soon be available on paperback! (Yepee!!) With a brand new cover! I am so thrilled to actually see my work in print.. I can't imagine how it will be the day I hold the book.

Second I am writing again, and all of that will be revealed too. I won't say if it's the second to the Charming Series, but I do have a date for that also.

Third, life gets in the way sometimes. I often find that as I write my worries disappear for a moment, but then back in reality, I am stuck in a hard place. I find it harder to write some days when I feel like walls are closing in on me.

I recently finished a book series I was reading, and I am almost done with another book that I had promised to read. I will let you know about that too on my next blog post. I also am working on new playlist music. It's one of my favorite things about writing, is the music I love. I have found writing this new book, (oops) that I have listened to a little heavier music than I am use to. I hope to have all of these things ready to go for you all very soon. In October I will reveal everything.. I am excited to always share with you all first!

Never Forget

No words needed... This was the day that will forever be remembered that brought America to it's knees...
Today, I take a moment of silence for the ones who died this day, and for the ones who give their lives every day for me to have the rights I have! Thank you to all who have gave their lives, and I promise I won't let the world forget!

Jealousy

  We all know the word, we all know that there is a part in us that has this problem.. Jealousy. One little word that seems to cause so much grief for so many. Jealousy makes people act and do crazy things! It can cause friends to not be friends anymore, it can cause people to fight, and at the farthest corner it can actually cause people physical harm. My question is why do we get jealous? Someone has something you want? Someone has something you thought you deserved, but you didn't it? It's what we do when we are faced with this problem. Often people lash out and make drastic moves when they are jealous. I know for a fact that I have at times, but then I move on from it. Some people don't have a jealous bone in their body. They could care less. People are often heartless too, but we aren't talking about those people today. Jealousy. I almost hate the word. It seems to cause so many problems, when all you wanted was to live your life.

In life we have to make daily decisions on what we are doing. When we give into jealousy it takes control of us. I am hoping that if you are a jealous person, that you find a happy medium for yourself. I know I work on myself every day. Always trying to be better than I was the day before. I think that's all we can do, you know? Just be the best person we can be. I hope that if your reading this, and you have a jealousy issue with someone just let it go.. at one point it will eat away your soul.

It's been a minute...

  I apologize for not being on my blog like I should be, but I have been working hard on some new projects.

All will be revealed very soon! I am so thrilled with the response of Charming Selene. I can not wait to share with everyone what I have up my sleeves so to speak. New projects are in the works, and in October we are preparing for some big NEWS! I know many people are asking many questions, and I will answer some of those very soon. I will start to give a little insight into what I have been doing. One, writing. Two covers. Yes, I said COVERS. I never truly loved the cover to Charming Selene when it was finally released. So, she is getting a make over. I know that's a big secret I am sharing. I always promised that my blogger fans would be the first to know what I was doing, and that's a promise I have kept. That is one big surprise though. Two, I will have another book out at the beginning of the new year, and it is not what you think. I am excited about that.

I often find that some days are harder to keep pushing myself in this journey. It would be the easy way out to say I am done, and throw my hands up in the air. I do not plan on doing that! I won't quit. Regardless if my books never sale anymore, I will keep doing what I love. I do love sharing stories with people. If you have not checked out my book, feel free. People don't think

  I know this is a strange title, but it's true. I think people believe they can be invincible and that nothing will happen to them for their actions. Unfortunately, most of the time the person who doesn't do anything is the one who gets the backlash. I think people feel like they can treat others however they want, and nothing will happen to them. I truly hope that's not the case. We should treat others how we want to be treated. We want to know that when you do something wrong it comes back to you. How do people just treat others like trash, and throw them to the wayside to further their intentions? It becomes a trust issue. How do you learn to trust others when all you ever see is the bad they could do to you? I don't want to live in that fear all the time. I don't want to always have to worry that someone is "out to get me" so to speak.

    Everyone gets "burned" at one point by someone. Whether it be a friend, boss, or even a family member. We learn to love again, and yet we hold back on who we really are so that no one can hurt us again. You think you know someone, but you find out that you really never did. I know it seems like this is a sad blog post, but I am hoping that others read this, seeing that we can overcome the issue's in our lives. We have to learn to love and trust. We have to learn to let go of what others have done to us. We have to learn that WE have the right to be WHO we want to be! I often say that we need to be ourselves. This post is no different than that. I don't care what race, sexual preference you are.. if you are a good person to others than that's all that matters. I think we are often judged before people even know us. Some people are just rude and disturbing. Stay away from the negative. Find the light in the one's around you, look for the light in others. Don't look at them as if they have 3 heads, try to learn from the diversity.

We will all go through trials in our lives, it's how we deal with them that sets us apart. Be strong! Be you! Be BOLD! -XOXO- Dee King Author

Let's Discover

Today we are discussing the book, Beautiful Creatures. This book is a series. I read this book, a few years back. I really thought at the time it may have been a younger read than I was use to. I ended up really liking the story, and loved the movie. The story is of a girl who is witch, and at the age of seventeen she will chose light or dark magic. This story was very cool. I feel in life we chose to be good or bad at times. We are always having to evolve. We have to make choice's every single day that effect us. We may think we have made a good choice, and then we find out that we may not have made the best choice. Life is full of choice's, and how we deal with them is what makes us who we are. The book, the move, is good! The love story within a girl's fight for just wanting to be a normal girl, is a story we all can relate too. What is normal though? I think we put to much pressure on ourselves to be "normal". Normal should be whatever you are, and whoever you chose to be. Not what society claims to be normal. Books turned into films

Today on my facebook "like" page I will be discussing books and movies. Books that were turned into films. I have now seen Divergent twice. Once in the theater, and once at my home when it was released. I thought this film was very close to the book. Veronica Roth wrote a book for all ages. It truly was a masterpiece. Telling the story of Tris, and how she defy's the "system" is a way for everyone to see that it's okay to be different. It leaves you wanting more. I truly hope that people find the courage within themselves as Tris does. Some of you may be asking what does this have to do with my books or my writing? I will explain that. I love to read. It's how I started writing to begin with. Sometimes we just need a little funny in our lives. I promised this week we will have new songs for some playlist ideas.. I have had a hard time trying to choose which songs to promote this week, and where they will be at in the new book. (I know I said a new book) I always share with you guys first! When will "we" as a people learn to be more tolerant of one another. How do we say who is right or who is wrong? If you have not watched this video I urge you to do so! Really listen to the words.... Nerds...

 I had to post this picture. It says so many things that I can not say at times. Haha! I love the Big Bang Theory. This show just cracks me up. They use smart humor and it makes me giggle. Are you a fan of this show? I started watching this show when it first started. I have missed a couple of seasons here and there, but if I ever need a good laugh, this is my go to show. I actually do like some comic books, I would say I am more fan of the movies and TV series though. I remember as a child watching Superman, and Batman. Everyone needs a hero, right? I always thought that if I had super powers what would I do? 

This show is a show for most ages. Sometimes the humor is more adult orientated, but it's still a great show. You may be wondering why does any of this matter, or why are you talking about this? Well, I wanted to share something interesting about myself with you all. I talk about my book, all the time. Speaking of that, THANK YOU! I have been so taken back by the great reviews, and that people have been loving it. Thank you so very much! I will begin writing the second one in the Charming Series very soon, and then I will start on a new book. It's paranormal also, and this one is very different from what you will find in Charming Selene. In the Charming series I wrote, and will be writing about my life. Yes, Charming Selene is my life story just put into a very different way, and obviously character's are based off my friends and family. Now, it' s a book of fiction, so obviously not all that you read is going to be true. I have to keep you guessing, right? Well, that's all I have for this Thursday. Countdown FUN!

I wanted to have some fun with the character's! I thought what better way than to use some famous people for character's in the book. That way everyone would be able to see who I envisioned as I wrote.. This was a lot of fun to put famous people to my character's. This is Selene aka Candice Accola from Vampire Diaries on the CW, you may know her as Caroline.

Why do you always have to come back so fast?

 Monday... I dread that word like it's the plague or something. It reminds me of having to go back to my normal routine, and having to get caught up on everything I didn't want to do over the weekend.  Monday, you are not welcome to come so fast anymore. 

On a good note for this Monday, I am starting the countdown to publishing! That's right! I am beginning to count the days! Nerves are already freaking out, and my mind say's, YOU CRAZY! I try to tell my mind, that everything will be fine.. but we all know how the mind wonders. I have said from the beginning of this, that all I wanted was to sale like 25 books. That was all. (No, I didn't set the bar high, I knew I was a nobody, and I knew that this is a hard industry to get in..) When I publish, I will hope that the people that read Charming Selene, find that running away from your fears, and your life, sometimes we do not get that choice! We all have to take a chance at one point in our life, and I am taking mine. 

Everyone has a dream. Everyone wants to be successful. I am just humbled, by the people, the readers I have already met, and I am proud to say that dreams can come true. I also promised to share the playlist of the book with you guy's, and so far I have gave you only a couple of song's. Tomorrow as we start to count down, I will share most of it, if not all with you. There is quite a few bands, so be prepared!!

Thank you to everyone who keeps pushing, reading my blogs, and has stayed with me through this journey! I could not do it without you!

If you remember we discussed the world cup. I had said that Germany was looking to be the winners of the overall WORLD CUP! I was right!! (Who would have thought, that would happen?) Congrats to Germany, for playing like a TEAM, and bringing home the WORLD CUP title! GO GERMANY!!

Teaser Tuesday

Happy 4th of JULY!

 To many of you today is an important day for Americans, for others today is not different than any other day.. Well, I just wanted to say Thank you to all those soliders here and across the world Thank you for what you do for your country! I know many countries that you have to serve in your miltary, and for that you should be proud! Randomness for TODAY

I had promised a playlist Tuesday, and I am so sorry, it got a little crazy yesterday, but no excuse! HERE we go!
OKAY! First song,
 Rixton, Me and my broken heart.
 This song sounds a lot like Maroon 5 I think. Which we all know by now, that I love them. Now, they don't sound exactly the same so don't say I said that, but you do have to admit they sound a little like  Maroon 5. I think they get a thumbs up from me. The song is catchy. (I know that's not a real word, but it's randomness day!)

Second song, Kiesza- Hideaway
I have no idea what this song is actually about, but every time I hear this song, I start singing along with the main chorus. It's different, and I like different. Obviously! So, I say it's a half thumb's up. Let's say more in the middle. What do you think??

Third song, Panama- Always
This band, this song, has such a smooth sound. They bring up the beat, but they do have a beautiful sound to them. Their song Always, is their EP. I really like this song, I do not know how much their other song's sound like this way, but what a great EP. This gets a thumbs up!

Do you?

 It's no surprise on how much I like movies, television, and music. Last night I was watching one of my favorite show's, Burn Notice, on Netflix. I often find myself thinking what would I do if I was in Michael Westin's shoe's. Funny right? Because I am definitely not a spy, nor would I ever be, but this show makes you think you could be like that, too. 
 I like this show a lot, and if you get the chance to watch it.. you MOST definitely should! 
   Also, I am FINALLY getting the chance to watch the mini series Camelot! MAN OH' MAN! This mini series (10 episode's) is sooooo good! I, of course, love history, and even though it is said that King Arthur could or is a myth, this mini series that Starz did is really out of this world. Without giving too much away if you have not seen it, I will say this.. the sword and the stone was a story you learned as a child, when they did this in the series, it really was dead on with what you would think would have happened (or something very similar) .... The myth of the sword was that the Greek God, Aries placed it there, and if you were worthy of the sword, then it would be yours. Hence, the story of the sword and the stone. I know this was said to take place in United Kingdom, I often thought how cool that would have been to be able to see that happen.

Randomness for this Friday!

WORLD CUP! FIFA! Are you watching????

Now, before you get all excited, or sad, I wanted to share some random thought's with you all! Next blog post it will be back to your regular scheduled program.. Haha.. 


World Cup is going on right now! Even if you are not a fan you have probably seen an ad, a tweet, a facebook status.. you name it, you have at least heard about it! In America we refer to the sport as soccer.. I often find it funny that people either love or hate the sport. Why is that? If I am right, (which I could totally be wrong, so you may want to check the stats on this) Soccer aka Futbol has been around for many, many years! I believe it was the first global sport! ( Beside's the Olympics) Futbol is an amazing sport to watch to be honest. The athletics alone used in this sport is to be admired! Have you ever been to a game? I am telling you now, it is worth every penny! The fans alone can make a game! I have seen anywhere from singing to fighting! FANS truly love their teams! What is the team you are "rooting for?" It's looking like Germany is in good runnings for this win of the World Cup! I personally, have 2 favorite teams. One of them is on it's last leg, though. They have one more chance to win just to stay in the games. 

Today, I wanted to let you all know that I love sports, too! People are complex, and I thought I would share some love for the games! 


Let's hear for it your team! Go ahead, SHOUT IT OUT!! GOOOOOO (insert your team's name)!!!!!! Good Luck to your teams!

Think outside the box

   We all try to think outside the box, but do we really? It can be so hard to step out of our comfort zone.. if it doesn't come easy to our mind's, then we just stay in our little bubbles. 

I think that's why I love to read so much. I like thinking outside of my little "bubble," and feeling apart of another world. We all have read books that we fell in love with that world, and then we have read those books that we think, huh? Well, I wanted to create a world that you could either picture yourself at that time, or take you to a place where you may have been as a young adult. I didn't want it to be normal, though. I wanted a world that you could feel like this could happen. We need, we want to feel emotions. It's what let's us know we are human. 
Today, I found a new song.. that's right.. I have found a new release for us to check out. I, actually stumbled across it by accident. It summed up how I felt this morning.

Well, hello there!

 Today is Tuesday, and that means it's not the dreaded M word! THAT means today is already better, right? What do you say we have some fun today? I think I will give a quote from my book, and I will tell you about a new single I have heard! What should we do first? Okay, okay let's not get to excited. We shall do the quote first!

"I start to panic. I hit the water so fast that I am immediately being towed under. Water is filling the car fast. I try to pull the seat belt loose. It's stuck. Water is already to my chest. Finally, the seat belt comes loose. I struggle, as the water rises."

Hmm, wonder what happens next? I guess we shall all find out in July when the book is published! 

Now, on for the song..... Maroon 5 has a new release! Are you excited? Yepeeee!! That's right folks, hold your applause till the end. The song is called Maps. It's about how he follows a map back to the love of his life. He is following the map that leads to her. It should be another hit for them! I adore them.. I know, I know I am such a girl, but I do. I love "love songs," this can not be a total surprise though. I am writing a romance novel. Haha!

Friday the 13th

 Ohhhhhhh.. the spooky day of Friday the 13th is today! Today, you may notice some crazy thing's.. Try to remember what day it is, and then chalk it up to that. That's my plan, because thinking the world is going crazy seems a little scarier than just thinking it's "Oh, it's because it's Friday the 13th." Now! For some exciting news... Who's ready? Okay okay, let's calm down.. it's not that exciting.. Haha!
I am now writing some for Wicked Women Book Blogs on WordPress. I have the honor of doing some reviews for them, and just writing my normal randomness. You guy's know I can't just be normal. Really though, what is normal? I know I am beginning to hate that word. Who wants to be normal, like everyone else? We are not sheep. We don't just want to blend in.. We want to be ourselves, we want to like what we like, and who cares why or how. So, I say today.. We say GOODBYE Normal, and Hello RANDOMNESS! Oh, you know have some randomness in you. Don't shy away.. yes you. It's okay to be yourself! BE YOU! BE FREE!!!!!!!!!

It's Hump Day

Hey folks, you know what day it is! Hump Day!! That is the day before Thursday, which means we are one step closer to the weekend! That means that we should have some fun today, and some randomness! Who is ready for some randomness???
  Let's do some music to start our Hump Day off right! Yesterday, was our Playlist Tuesday, but you guy's know I didn't forget you! What's hot right now in music will be what I post about today! So, let's get our groove on shall we??

Time is getting close

 In no way shape or form am I trying to hurry this month along. I have been feeling the nerves kick in for a little bit now. Soon, I will publish Charming Selene to the whole world wide web. Nothing like having your words read by others, and hoping they don't hate it. Heck, just hoping they even read it.. Oh, I am sure that every author feels the same way. How could you not? I am not looking to be the next bestseller, I am just looking for others to read it, and not hate it. Haha.
 I have received some exciting news though, and that helps calm the nerves a tad. Not a lot, because let's face it.. even the best books are not read by some. You have your classics that you have to read in school (which no one ever wants to do, hence Cliff  notes), and then you have books that seem to fly off the shelf. How they manage that, well, that is a mystery to me. Is it the cover? Is it word of mouth? Is it that it relates to another book that you liked? How the heck does this happen? Marketing is one way, of course. If you have a publisher that has your book every where you go, odds are that someone is going to read it just because they assume it's good. For an Indie Author, it really is about word of mouth, and reviews. Those reviews can make or break you. (From what I hear??) I only want people to like it... Seriously, that's all. I don't even know why I am worried. What are the odds that anyone will actually even see it once I hit the publish button? I just wanted to write a book, and say "I DID THIS!"
    I think every one has a dream! I just can not believe my dream is coming true soon. Thank you all for reading my crazy randomness.

Friends....

We often find ourselves surrounded by people who are our friends, but you can also find people who claim to be your friend, who really are not.Like a wolf in sheep's clothing! Those people are the one's you should be cautious of.

Sure, they say they are, but when it comes down to it, are they? You all know who I am talking about. These are the people that when thing's are going well for you they are there, but when you need them... they seem to not be. The definition of friend must mean something different to everyone. For me it means someone you share everything with, ups, downs, and quite frequently some laughter. Now, how do we know who are the one's that don't want to really be our friends? That is a complicated answer. We don't. We find out only after the fact. Sometimes, it doesn't matter how hard you try, you have to let that friend go. It hurts, but in the end you find out you are a better person for not being friends with that person anymore. Of course, you miss them.. honestly you may have felt that you would be friends forever, but we all know some of these relationships just do not work out.

You may be asking yourself if I have personally just lost a friend. I have not, in fact, my list seems to be growing..... I am just traveling down memory lane, and felt that some of us need to be reminded of what a true friend is. Be the friend you want to have, and if that doesn't work, then the HELL with it, and move on. Life is to short to be constantly worried that you have done something to said friend. If you are true friends you will laugh, cry, be angry with each other at times, but you will always remain friends because you can not imagine life without them. Cut out the toxic, and be happy!

Anger

Anger can cause people to act out in radical ways. Some of us will punch a wall, some will kick and scream, some will yell. Anger can build till you can not hold it inside any longer, and you "explode" on someone. Now, harnessing that anger can actually be good for you. Use the anger you feel inside for someone who has wronged you, and do something positive with it! May be you were told your whole life that you wouldn't amount to anything, well, prove them wrong! Let the anger you have against someone that has "wronged" you turn into something beautiful. You could prove them wrong! You could learn to love yourself. You could learn that they are wrong! That you are worth the fight! You are worth their time, and if they still don't get it, then guess what? They were not meant to be in your life. It could be a parent, a loved one, even a friend.. value yourself, and that is all that truly matters. See, I know what it feels like to be pulled in many directions, and never understanding why me? Well, today, I ask you why not you? These obstacles are put in your way, to see if you are strong enough. Are you? YES! You are worthy of love, friendship, and most of all, you are worthy of being cared about. You are the only person who can turn that anger into something positive. Have it work for you, not you work for it! Are you ready to be amazing?

This blog has been reached across the world, and for someone like me.. It makes me tear up.. I never thought one person would read what I have wrote, let alone reach others in other countries! SO, Thank you!!

Tame the dragon

That phrase about "taming your inner dragons" exactly what does that mean? Does it mean conquer your fears? Does it mean listen to your inner voice? I do not know what it means to everyone, but for me this would be about overcoming my fears. As my book is getting ready to be published, all of my fears are front and center. 

When I started this venture, I honestly thought I would never have the courage to go through with it. I knew I would finish the book, but I figured that I would never tell anyone. Then it started to become where I wanted to share the story with other's just to see what they thought. Next thing you know, here I am, writing two blogs, running multiple social media outlet's, and enjoying every minute of it. I will be facing the big FEAR very very soon! Once the book is published, that's all FOLKS! It will be out for the entire world to read.. I, of course, am my own worst critic. I feel that I should be, nothing is perfect. I have yet to find that one perfect thing.. so mine will be no different. 

My question today is Have you faced your FEARS? If not? Let's do this together, shall we?!

Welcome back

 Hello there, I thought I would write today on my blog that got all this started. I miss you, so this post is for you, my readers. I would like to catch you up on all my latest news.... Let's begin shall we?
 Okay, let's see, the book is finished! I am in the process of editing the book as we speak, and my first reader is reading my book. It's exciting to see and hear how other's like your work. Of course, not everyone is going to like it, let's be reasonable here. Also, people are going to be cruel. I am prepared for that also! 
 Let's talk about the book for a moment.. I added quite a bit as I have been editing. I was not wanting to add certain parts, so that  I could add those into the second book of the series, but I had feedback asking questions about character's. I gave in.. What? You may have done that too? I will tell you, there is some romance, a murder, a choice, and learning to cope with life as it is thrown Selene's way. (Main character) If you are a female this book will probably be more for you, although I have heard some guy's may like it, but if we are being serious, I am not sure I know too many guy's who read romance novels. IF you are one of them, Thank you!!

Struggles

   We all find ourselves struggling at one point or another. We try to move from our past into our future, but often the past seems to hold us back. Well, today I think we should all step out of our bubbles, and see if we can not see a brighter future for ourselves. Do not let others hold you back if you have a dream! You should go for it! Even if it's just to help one person, then you will see the beauty that is inside of you!

A picture can say a thousand words...

What would you do if you saw a picture of yourself as a child, and you find it in the most odd place? How would you feel about that? How would you feel is it was hanging in a home you had never been in? Especially, with someone you thought you hated? You see in that picture a little version of you, and you wonder how you do not remember this day? How would you react?

Party Time!

    Have you ever been to a party, or a gathering and it changed your life? Maybe you have been somewhere and in one night your world changed?

I felt like in my life, I have been to many parties or gathering's that have changed my aspect of my life. I decided that in this book, I would take from my real life situation's and apply them to this novel. Adding in a fantasy life for this book, was the only way I wanted to do this. I know from reading novel's that had a fantasy twist to it, I was able to leave my own little world, and believe that fantasies can come true. Do you have a fantasy? Sometime's the real world can be such a sad place, you sometime's need to run away from that. I wanted people who read my book, to feel that  you could  run away in your mind to another place and time. I may have wrote this for a young genre, but I truly felt that everyone can relate to high school drama, and the life you want after you graduate. 
Maybe you are still in high school, or college, and you think you know what is going to happen after you graduate, but imagine that one night change's your life forever? We may often feel that we know everything, and that we know what we want, but do we really? Do we really know our future? No. I know that we want the best for our future, but often circumstance's change our live's. You have the right to be whomever you want, and make the life you want for yourself. Make sure you always listen to your heart, and try to do what you feel is best!

      I do not remember a time ever looking in the mirror and thinking I was remotely as pretty as my friend's. Today, for the first time I can see a glow about myself. I feel alive. Realizing who I truly am. I have no clue what it actually means to be a Goddess, but I think I can picture it for  the first time.

Making me frustrated!

I thought this morning I would share a picture with you guys, but I guess blogger has other idea's. Since that is unavailable this morning I thought I would give some insight into my book today, and see what you all think?
 When I started writing this book, I literally had one sentence in my mind that I knew I wanted to tell a story with. Exactly, one sentence. As I started to type the words just came. I had no idea how the book was going to go, I just had this one idea. I have always liked to tell stories, and I felt like I could run away with this story. I started thinking if I was in high school, and it was the end of my senior year what would I have done differently? Then, it went from there. I have really liked reading anything that was not of the normal. I loved Twilight. Yes, I said that! I read it, and I loved it! Then from there I wanted to read anything that was not of the real world so to speak. Then Selene, came to me. This character who I could relate to, yet I wanted to be. I knew then that I had a story I wanted to tell. The genre I am writing is young adult. I have been asked many times, why young adult? Honestly, I started the story in a young adult state of mind. As Selene grows older so will the books. I think back on how maybe if I had done this or that differently where would I be now? Then I thought about how everything happens for a reason. I figured with Selene, she could go to places I wanted, yet I could also stay grounded to what was important to me.

       Selene has some hard choice's to make in her life. Chose a love, chose a life that she wasn't prepared for, and chose to do what she feels is right. In the process of this, she learns about herself, and what she wants from this life. There will be twists and turns you may not see coming. I went to a darker place with the book. I wanted it to grab me, as I had been grabbed in some many books I have read. Using the word Charming I chose it for many reasons. As you read you will understand too. I also wanted to write a book about how not everything can seem as it is. A lot of people see thing's in black and white, I see thing's in the grey. What if this? What if that? I ask many questions, and I felt like maybe going into that fantasy world I could see how many other people like to live in the grey area's too? Sometimes living in color is the only way to live. I feel like we all need an escape. I chose this as my escape.

       I also want to remind you that I have a sarcastic view on life too. I felt that comes across in my book. I like to make others laugh, because I really feel laughter is the best medicine we can all use! I watch video's on my YouTube channel, and I share those. Often, so you can have a laugh too. Check it out if you need a laugh too!
