Welcome back

 Hello there, I thought I would write today on my blog that got all this started. I miss you, so this post is for you, my readers. I would like to catch you up on all my latest news.... Let's begin shall we?
 Okay, let's see, the book is finished! I am in the process of editing the book as we speak, and my first reader is reading my book. It's exciting to see and hear how other's like your work. Of course, not everyone is going to like it, let's be reasonable here. Also, people are going to be cruel. I am prepared for that also! 
 Let's talk about the book for a moment.. I added quite a bit as I have been editing. I was not wanting to add certain parts, so that  I could add those into the second book of the series, but I had feedback asking questions about character's. I gave in.. What? You may have done that too? I will tell you, there is some romance, a murder, a choice, and learning to cope with life as it is thrown Selene's way. (Main character) If you are a female this book will probably be more for you, although I have heard some guy's may like it, but if we are being serious, I am not sure I know too many guy's who read romance novels. IF you are one of them, Thank you!!

Finished!

 I finished the book last night. Now, it's editing, reader's than publishing here I come! I am so excited to share my journey with all of you!

Party Time!

    Have you ever been to a party, or a gathering and it changed your life? Maybe you have been somewhere and in one night your world changed?

I felt like in my life, I have been to many parties or gathering's that have changed my aspect of my life. I decided that in this book, I would take from my real life situation's and apply them to this novel. Adding in a fantasy life for this book, was the only way I wanted to do this. I know from reading novel's that had a fantasy twist to it, I was able to leave my own little world, and believe that fantasies can come true. Do you have a fantasy? Sometime's the real world can be such a sad place, you sometime's need to run away from that. I wanted people who read my book, to feel that  you could  run away in your mind to another place and time. I may have wrote this for a young genre, but I truly felt that everyone can relate to high school drama, and the life you want after you graduate. 
Maybe you are still in high school, or college, and you think you know what is going to happen after you graduate, but imagine that one night change's your life forever? We may often feel that we know everything, and that we know what we want, but do we really? Do we really know our future? No. I know that we want the best for our future, but often circumstance's change our live's. You have the right to be whomever you want, and make the life you want for yourself. Make sure you always listen to your heart, and try to do what you feel is best!

 Today I thought it might be helpful to tell a little about my book. I would like to explain a little bit before I do that. When I decided that this story I had running through my mind should be put on paper was a huge step. Writing (typing) it down at first sounded so odd to me. I just had this idea, and wanted to see if it made sense. As I started typing I felt like I knew this could be a real story if I tried hard enough. So on that note, here is some insight.
   It's the last two weeks of your high school career. You have had a major crush, yet have never spoke to that person. You decide what better time to do it then right before school is out. Forever. You take the first steps towards speaking to the person, and you believe that maybe that person feels the same. You end up at a party, where you think your crush might be. Instead of just seeing your crush at the home of someone you detest. You learn more than what you ever dreamed possible. In one night your entire world changes. You have one week of school left, yet in that one week you are to make life changing decisions when all you wanted to do was finish school,tell your crush how you felt,  and move on to the next chapter in your life.

This is Selene Athans life. Will she follow her heart, or will she make the biggest mistake of her life?
